James Cyze is the founder of CloudKanri, creator of Kantan Sign—a real-estate e-signature and contract workflow platform purpose-built for Japan. His focus is practical digitization: compliant e-signing, stamp/seal flows, multilingual experiences, and mobile-first tools for agents in the field.
Before CloudKanri, James built and scaled a U.S. logistics/e-commerce business, achieving a 5× return at exit. He now applies that operator mindset to Japanese real estate, working closely with agencies and property managers to map real-world processes into efficient digital workflows. Originally from the U.S., he lives in Tokyo and enjoys golf, Japanese food, reading, and meeting founders.
